KA Imaging, headquartered in Waterloo, ON, is a manufacturer of innovative X-ray detectors and systems for the medical, industrial, veterinary and scientific imaging markets. KA Imaging is a spinoff from the University of Waterloo, has 35 full time employees and 80 global patents. KA Imaging has designed and developed a portable, large area, multi-spectral X-ray detector called Reveal 35C that enables bone and tissue differentiation, a key advantage over current solutions. Our detectors are universally compatible and retrofittable for easy installs and upgrades. Fundamentally, our technology has changed X-ray imaging, allowing for unprecedented soft tissue contrast at the low dose and price point of conventional digital X-rays. KA Imaging offers the Reveal 35C both as a retrofit and as part of a complete turnkey mobile X-ray system.
