Insight Medbotics Incorporated was created by the Centre for Surgical Invention and Innovation (CSii) in partnership with MDA, builders of the iconic Canadarm, Canadarm2 and Dextre to commercially launch a new generation of intelligent robotic systems which leverage Canadian expertise in space technology and informatics for use in Image Guided Automated Robotics (IGAR). IGAR-Breast, the first such device was designed to detect and treat breast cancer in it’s earliest stages. MRI is widely regarded as the superior diagnostic imaging modality for monitoring and diagnosing women with a heightened genomic and phenomic risk of breast cancer. We are applying proprietary IP and clinical excellence to identify, biopsy, and optimally treat early stage breast cancer.
