Meet Chirp, a cloud-connected sensor device to help caregivers remotely monitor and support older adults without intrusion of privacy.
Chirp offers continuous, passive, individualized wellness/health monitoring. Chirp’s AI algorithms continuously monitor sleep patterns, walking speeds, sedentary behaviors, visitors, and more. Changes in normal behavior (e.g., reduced walking speeds and disturbed sleep) are flagged as predictors of health problems. The Chirp sensor uses radar to get the position of people in the home, allowing for the ability to track their actions without using intrusive cameras or wearables. The Chirp wall-mounted device monitors walking speed, time in bed, bathroom visits, visitors, all passively using radar sensing. Caregivers and/or clinicians can baseline performance in the home and proactively engage the patient using the integrated two-way voice communication.
